Broiler cooks hold a key position in the company, as they are in charge of the product that Au Coq is known for: roasted chicken.
As broiler cook, you'll receive the chicken, plan the quantities to broil, skewer the chicken, and closely monitor its cooking in order to serve the chicken when it's perfectly cooked. This position requires manual dexterity because you're in charge of cutting chicken when it's being placed in the boxes. You're also in charge of cooking the fries, bacon, ribs, and chicken fillets etc.
In order to ensure client satisfaction, respecting Au Coq’s standards in terms of quality, quantity and presentation are extremely important, as are hygiene and cleanliness. You’ll also ensure that the ovens and other equipment you use are clean.
Advancement possibilities are available to you within the company. Many assistant managers were previously broiler cooks.
